Summer Classes about to begin

A fresh summer season of classes is on its way (notice I decided to do this post in fresh summer green?)

I will be offering Beginning Metalsmithing for Jewelry at Kirkland Art Center beginning Monday July 9, from 6 - 9 p.m. Intermediate Metalsmithing for Jewelry will be offered at the KAC beginning on Wednesday, July 11, also from 6 - 9 p.m. Both classes will run 8 weeks. Call the Kirkland Art Center at 853-8871 to register.

I will be offering two classes at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute in July, as well. Beginning Jewelry will be offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. beginning July 10. Jewelry Hot and Cold will be offered for 2 weeks, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 1 - 4 p.m. beginning on July 17. Jewelry Hot and Cold is an intensive class in which students will practice and improve their soldering skills, and learn cold-connections as well, using both to design a piece of jewelry to complete during class. Call Munson at 797-0000 to register.

I also teach classes on bead jewelry at Emmi Beads in Clinton. Check their website, http://www.emmibeads.com/ for an updated schedule.

Hope to see you in class!
